(1) A rare Friedrich Goldscheider figure 'The Fishing Boy'
Friedrich Goldscheider is well known for his unusual, comical poses.
The Fishing Boy’ figure (c. 1895) is featured in the official Goldscheider book. Signed, and in perfect condition, the figure is straight from a private collection. Goldscheider figures are nowadays very much sought after by collectors worldwide and can reach astonishing prices at auctions such as Sotheby's and Christies.

Large 19th Century Bronze Buddha
Sourced from a private house in Malvern Wells, this is a substantial, well cast Buddha in bronze sitting in the lotus position. Dating from the late 19th century, it is believed to have originated from Thailand.

A superb restored Golden Oak Arts and Crafts style sideboard
Attributable to Waring and Gillows, made circa 1910. It is noted for its Arts and Crafts Style ‘Tulip’ and sinuous whip-lash foliage motif in exotic coloured woods. Each panelled door has inlaid marquetry.This style of motif is featured three more times on a smaller scale on the raised flat capped pediment. The sideboard has excellent antique gold plated drawer and cupboard handles depicting these same stylised tulip motifs.There is a cabinet with similar whip-lash floral decoration shown on page 97 of the 1992 edition of Victorian and Edwardian Furniture by John Andrews. This is also attributed to Waring and Gillows.

A fine Ashford Marble Centre Table
A beautifully inlaid specimen topped centre table in Ashford marble (Derbyshire, England). Circa 1850. The inlaid centre is a butterfly and is circled by various birds and flowers and a band of differing marbles. The top is secured to the base by a central screw. In showroom condition, it measures 29.25" high with a 22" diameter.
