The Buxton Antiques Fair adopts a policy of offering visitors fully vetted and datelined antiques and works of art. This ensures that all items are authenticated and fall within the datelines set for the fair.

The vetting procedure is carried out by a committee of experts led by the Vetting Chairman, Mr Brian Higgins of Yellow Lantern Antiques Ltd, who examine all items exhibited at the fair, prior to opening, ensuring that they are accurately described, totally genuine and of top quality condition. This will give visitors the added assurance that they can buy these items with complete confidence.
